The WFDF 2017 World Championships of Beach Ultimate, in association with BULA, has amassed an all-star team of broadcast experts. Former NBA, Olympics, and amateur sports producer Tim Rockwood leads the team as Executive Producer. Tim is joined by Director Mike Palmer of Australia, founder of Ulti.tv, who has covered nearly 400 (beach) ultimate games in 10 countries, including five world championships and Producer Luke Johnson, from US based Fulcrum Media, who has been filming and live streaming (beach) ultimate since 2004.
The team is further strengthened by lead play-by-play commentator Evan Lepler, the well-known ESPN ultimate and basketball commentator, as well as the unmistakable Voice of UK Ultimate Tom Styles. Together they will join forces with SPORTMAG, the first multi-sports, multi-media company in France that is defining a new way of experiencing sports.
The WCBU dream team will broadcast the action and drama of over 40 games, including all seven finals, from the WCBU Arena in Royan, France. The live stream will start Sunday, June 18 at 13:30 local time and will be freely available, worldwide, at live.wcbu2017.org.
